ACU-Serve has acquired TANYR, described in a June 17 press release as a respected leader in infusion revenue cycle management services (RCM).
“This strategic move expands ACU-Serve’s reach and reinforces its position as the premier RCM
partner in the post-acute care space,” ACU-Serve, based in Akron, Ohio, said in the announcement. “Bringing together two organizations known for their client-first approach and high-quality service, this acquisition creates a more powerful platform for innovation and growth.”
The deal officially closed on June 13.
TANYR, based in Colleyville, Texas, was founded in 2013 by Rodney Wright, who at the time had more than 25 years of revenue cycle experience in hospital, specialty laboratory, home infusion, specialty pharmacy, and physician-based infusion settings.
The company said it’s “led by industry experts in every revenue cycle facet of infusion and specialty pharmacy. Our experience leading teams for companies whose revenues exceed well over $1 billion annually allows us to take what we have learned on a large scale and apply it to the smallest of providers, even those who are just starting out.”
“We chose ACU-Serve for their experience and proven infrastructure,” Wright said in the announcement. “Their strong reputation in the DME space ensures our team has the support and tools to deliver an even greater impact. They’re the right fit for our next chapter.”
The announcement added that TANYR’s leadership and staff will remain in place.
“We are thrilled to welcome the TANYR team into the ACU-Serve family,” said Jim Knight, CEO of ACU-Serve. “Rodney and Glenel [Tillich, TANYR’s president] have built an outstanding reputation in infusion RCM, and this partnership is a significant step toward our goal of becoming the leading RCM provider in the post-acute market.”
“TANYR’s infusion-focused capabilities are a natural complement to ACU-Serve’s comprehensive RCM solutions, enhancing the company’s ability to deliver unmatched results across the continuum of post-acute care,” the announcement added.
