The Accreditation Commission for Health Care Inc. (ACHC) has added three program tracks to its ACHCU Academy event scheduled for Jan. 22-24 in Orlando, Fla.
In an Aug. 8 announcement, ACHC said the three-day, in-person educational event has “the theme of achieving excellence in a healthcare setting” and will bring together “home health, hospice, and compounding pharmacy leaders,” as well as hospital clinical, administrative, and facilities managers.
ACHC described the Academy as offering “real-time interaction with peers and ACHC experts for problem solving and practice sharing, plus education on compliance with Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services regulations, U.S. Pharmacopeia standards and ACHC requirements. With more than 70 sessions planned, attendees may choose to focus on the topics most important to them over the three-day event while having the opportunity to network with industry leaders and their peers.”
Greg Stowell, ACHCU’s Associate Director for Education & Training, said in the announcement, “With the latest additions to ACHCU Academy, we aim to empower our valued attendees to not only achieve accreditation success, but participate in a highly engaged community of practice. Our unwavering goal for Academy is to bring ACHCU to a broader audience, focusing on vital healthcare topics through expert-led sessions that cater directly to our customers’ most pressing needs.”
Registration for the ACHCU Academy event, to take place at the Wyndham Grand Orlando Resort Bonnet Creek, is now open. Pat Williams, co-founder of the Orlando Magic, is the event’s keynote speaker.
