The ACHCU Academy event, scheduled for Jan. 22-24 in Orlando, Fla., now has three additional program tracks.
In an Aug. 8 announcement, the Accreditation Commission for Health Care Inc. (ACHC) said the three-day, in-person educational event has “the theme of achieving excellence in a healthcare setting” and will bring together “home health, hospice, and compounding pharmacy leaders,” as well as hospital clinical, administrative, and facilities managers.
ACHC notes that the Academy offers “real-time interaction with peers and ACHC experts for problem solving and practice sharing, plus education on compliance with Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services regulations, U.S. Pharmacopeia standards, and ACHC requirements. With more than 70 sessions planned, attendees may choose to focus on the topics most important to them over the three-day event while having the opportunity to network with industry leaders and their peers.”
Greg Stowell, ACHCU’s Associate Director for Education & Training, said in the announcement, “With the latest additions to ACHCU Academy, we aim to empower our valued attendees to not only achieve accreditation success, but participate in a highly engaged community of practice. Our unwavering goal for Academy is to bring ACHCU to a broader audience, focusing on vital healthcare topics through expert-led sessions that cater directly to our customers’ most pressing needs.”
Pat Williams, co-founder of the Orlando Magic, will be the event’s keynote speaker. Registration for the ACHCU Academy, taking place at the Wyndham Grand Orlando Resort Bonnet Creek, is now open.
