Abilities Expo Announces 2024 Event Schedule
Seven events are planned, from Los Angeles to Fort Lauderdale, Fla.

The 2024 Abilities Expo schedule includes seven events, the first taking place in March in Los Angeles.

The Los Angeles event, scheduled for March 15-17, will take place at the Los Angeles Convention Center.

The other family-friendly events on the schedule are New York Metro (May 3-5 at the New Jersey Convention & Expo Center); Chicago (June 21-23 at the Renaissance Schaumburg Convention Center); Houston (Aug. 2-4 at NRG Center); Phoenix (Sept. 6-8 at WestWorld of Scottsdale); Fort Lauderdale (Oct. 18-20 at Broward County Convention Center); and Dallas (Dec. 6-8 at Dallas Market Hall).

The consumer show series is free to attend and includes an assistive technology exhibit hall, educational workshops, and demonstrations of activities such as wheelchair sports and fitness. Workshops scheduled for the Los Angeles event include Accommodating Your Abilities: California Workplace Protections; Travel Your World!; Driving with a Disability; Life After Stroke: Help for Stroke Survivors and Caretakers; The Art of Complex Caregiving; Disability and Special Needs Planning Made Easy; and Do You and Your Loved Ones Know What to Do in an Emergency?

Certificates of participation are available for industry professionals who attend the educational sessions.
