AARC Honors Respironics with 9th Zenith Award

February 1, 2006 by HME Business

Respironics Inc. received its 9th Zenith Award during the American Association for Respiratory Care’s (AARC) 51st International Respiratory Congress held in San Antonio in December.

The award was established by AARC in 1989 to honor respiratory care product and service providers who exemplify outstanding service to the respiratory care community.

Nearly 400 companies, including manufacturers, service organizations and supply companies, are nominated each year for the Zenith Award, but only five receive the honor. The award recognizes companies based on the quality of their equipment and supplies, accessibility and helpfulness of their sales personnel, responsiveness, service record, truth in advertising and their support of the respiratory care profession.

“Receiving this award from our customers and the respiratory profession is an honor,” said John Miclot, president and CEO of Respironics. “The Zenith Award affirms that we have been successful both in helping our customers succeed and in furthering the respiratory care profession.”
