The American Association for Respiratory Care has announced the results of voting for its 2025 board of directors, which ended Oct. 9.
Newly elected were Teresa “Teri” Miller, MEd, RRT, CPFT, FAARC, vice president, internal affairs; Jacklyn Grimball, MA, RRT, AE-C, FAARC, vice president, external affairs; Kari Neville, BSRC, RRT-NPS, FAARC, secretary/treasurer; Joel Brown, MSM-HCA, RRT, FAARC, director at large; and Maria Madden, MSc, RRT, RRT-ACCS, FAARC, director at large.
At the end of AARC’s 2024 annual business meeting, Dana Evans, MHA, RRT, RRT-NPS, FACHE, FAARC, will start her two-year term as AARC’s new president. Current AARC President Carl Hinkson, MS, RRT-NPS, ACCS, FAARC, will then transition to the position of immediate past president.
AARC’s specialty sections also held elections, with Gbolahan “Gboly” Harris, RRT, RRT-SDS, RRT-NPS, RPSGT, being named chair-elect, leadership and management; Emilee Lamorena, MSC, RRT, RRT-NPS, being named chair-elect, neonatal-pediatrics; and Peter Allen, BSRC, RRT, RRT-NPS, RRT-SDS, RST, RPSGT, being named chair-elect, sleep.
