The American Association for Homecare is seeking an experienced payer relations professional to add to the payer relations team to help with ongoing relationships with payers, advocacy, Council activities, data and research.

The new Manager of Payer Relations will work closely with Laura Williard, the associations vice president of payer relations, and David Chandler, senior director of payer relations, to support the development of ongoing industry strategy regarding payer and state relations involving Commercial Managed Care, Medicaid Managed Care Organizations, Medicare Advantage, and state Medicaid programs.

The position will also help support the AAHomecare Payer Relations team’s advocacy efforts through research and data analysis, legislative and regulatory white paper development, coordination of all payer relations council and subcommittee meetings, and leading specific state and council objectives.

Some travel will be required for in-person quarterly meetings and select state events, but the position can be remote or home-based.
