CMS has made technical corrections to the Healthcare Common Procedure Codes (HCPCS) codes currently contained within the Mail-Order Diabetic Supplies and Support Services Competitive Bidding Product Categories.
Effective immediately, HCPCS code A4255 (Platforms for Home Blood Glucose Monitor, 50 per Box) has been removed from the Mail-Order Diabetic Supplies Product Category since this item is no longer being furnished.
In addition, HCPCS code E0194 (Air Fluidized Bed) has been removed from the Support Services Product Category in order to focus the product category on more heavily utilized Group 2 support surface products.
