The American Association for Homecare (AAHomecare) is accepting nominations for the 2024 Van Miller Homecare Champion award, to be presented at Medtrade in March.
In a Jan. 24 announcement, AAHomecare said it’s seeking nominees with long-standing records of service in the homecare community; who embody the spirit of caring and generosity that “are the hallmarks of this profession”; and who are active and engaged members of AAHomecare.
The award is named after VGM Group founder Van G. Miller, who passed away in 2015. The 2023 winner was Kam Yuricich, Executive Director of the Ohio Association of Medical Equipment Services and the Great Lakes Home Medical Equipment Association.
Nominations can be sent to Sue Mairena: suem@aahomecare.org. The deadline is Fri., Feb. 23.
The award will be presented during the Stand Up for Homecare reception on March 27 at Medtrade in Dallas.
