EZ-Turn

EZ-Turn

Device helps caregivers off-load patient's weight while turning them

Turning is essential for patient care, pressure redistribution and reducing pressure injury. When the patient is unable to turn without assistance, the caregiver and patient are at greater risk of injury. EZ-Turn helps caregivers off-load the patient’s weight while the rounded shape and turning handles provide control to easily and safely reposition the patient. EZ-Turn provides patient comfort and security and can help prevent injury for both the patient and caregiver. Made in the USA, the core is constructed from high-density CertiPUR-US foam. The EZ-Turn is Latex-free and fire retardant, and made with a heavy-duty anti-microbial medical grade vinyl double-stitched cover that cleans easily.

Seating sensor helps users monitor and manage air cushion pressure

LUCI+Air offers wheelchair users a real-time, smart air cushion pressure monitor that aims to take the guesswork and stress out of air cushion inflation. It shows users whether their air cushion is properly inflated and gives them important information about how much time they spend sitting and how often they are off-loading from your cushion, as well. The patent-pending LUCI+Air works with the MyLUCI app to display the data users need to manage their skin. Available to current LUCI users, LUCI+Air works with all single-valve cushions or multi-chamber cushions that can be set with the valve open.

JAY Fusion with CryoFluid

JAY Fusion with CryoFluid

The JAY Fusion with CryoFluid addresses all four risk factors associated with pressure injuries: pressure, shear, temperature and moisture — a feat the company says only the CryoFluid can accomplish. The patent pending CryoFluid is made of paraffin wax microbeads combined with graphite that absorbs the user’s heat, cooling the skin surface to a therapeutic temperature to help reduce the risk of pressure injuries. CryoFluid actively cools for up to eight hours, “resets” during off-loading, and the capacity for cooling won’t diminish over time. The CryoFluid insert is divided into five chambers to minimize fluid migration for optimal immersion and weight distribution.
