The DreamWisp is the first over-the-nose nasal CPAP mask designed with a top-of-the-head tube to help sleep apnea patients sleep more comfortably. Instead of sitting in front of the face, the tube sits atop the head and connects to an over-the-nose nasal mask, allowing users to move freely throughout the night.

Philips expands SmartSleep product line
Philips has added three new products to its SmartSleep suite of solutions: Snoring Relief Band, Better Sleep Program, and Analyzer. The Snoring Relief Band is worn around the chest and measure sleep behavior to prevent the wearer from turning onto his or her back. The Better Sleep Program helps trains users to implement healthy sleep habits by connected a wearable sleep tracking device to a smartphone, which serves up tools designed to help users gain sustainable results. The Analyzer provides analysis of users’ sleep patterns based on an online questionnaire, the results of which can be used to identify sleep challenges and recommend personalized solutions.

Philips Releases new Portable Hand-Held Nebulizer
InnoSpire Go is a portable medical nebulizer for people with asthma and chromic obstructive pulmonary disease who need daily inhalation treatment. Its rechargeable battery lasts up to 30 treatments per charge, and it includes a Lite Touch mask for comfort while using the device. InnoSpire Go can be used with many commonly prescribed medications for respiratory disease.

At Medtrade Spring, Philips will introduce DreamWear Full Face, the third cushion option available for the award-winning DreamWear mask. Designed based on clinical and patient insights, it provides individuals with sleep apnea who tend to breathe through their mouth the ability to easily switch between cushions and comfortably sleep in any position they want with the hose on top of their head instead of in front of their face.

New gel pillow modules create optimized comfort
Royal Philips has introduced a new option to its open-face therapy masks. The new Gel Pillows module features the same comfort and freedom of movement as the original DreamWear, but now offers an additional choice in cushion type that can be easily changed out within the same mask frame. Thanks to the modular design, clinicians have reported the DreamWear mask as taking less time to change between the two DreamWear masks than between another pillows mask and nasal mask.
