DMEPOS Retailer Certification
There is a potential gap in quality for
retailers that are not billing Medicare and
so are not required to attain CMS-approved
DMEPOS accreditation. From the retailer
perspective, this certification program helps
standardize quality processes and services
at a DMEPOS organization, ensuring safety
for a provider’s customers. From the customer’s
perspective, the certification enables
them to make better choices when buying
online or in the provider’s store. They see
the Exemplary Provider Certification logo on
a provider’s website or in their store window
and feel secure that a provider’s processes
have been certified by a nationally recognized
third party.

DMEPOS Certification
Program offers DMEPOS certification for non-Medicare providers
The Compliance Team’s newest certification
program is set up as a quality assurance
program for online DMEPOS suppliers who
are not billing Medicare. This new certification
helps standardize quality processes at
the DMEPOS organization and ensures safety
for their patients. Certification acts as quality
validation to the company’s online and mail
order customers that the supplier has been
certified by an independent, third party.
DMEPOS certification differs from DMEPOS
accreditation in that certification covers only
those aspects of the business that are directly
related to intake and delivery. Cerification is
for two years.

you, the network administrator, or the provider within the network,
to meet CDC requirements as well as to build trust in the safety and
quality of your vaccine administration. Program standards include,
but are not limited to vaccine storage, infection control, sharps
handling, adverse effects, and patient history and follow-up. This

Pharmacy Testing Certification
In response to the “new normal” in pharmacies across the country, The Compliance Team’s Pharmacy Testing Certification program (a new Exemplary Provider recognition award) aims to help to keep pharmacies on the leading edge of patient protection. The Pharmacy Testing Certification program provides pharmacies with the education and tools necessary to achieve Pharmacy Testing Certification for COVID-19 and other CLIA Waived tests. It offers pharmacies new revenue opportunities via Point of Care testing and Collect and Transfer testing. As a certified pharmacy testing facility, the pharmacy assures its customers, patients, payers, and employees that its pharmacy testing quality and safety procedures have been validated by a nationally recognized third party.
This is a stand-alone certification program, so a pharmacy need not be accredited by The Compliance Team for any other service. However, those pharmacies that are currently accredited by The Compliance Team will be ahead of the game in that the Pharmacy Testing Certification standards retain many aspect parts of the more stringent Exemplary Provider accreditation standards.

Patient Quality Measurement (PQM) Satisfaction Portal
The Compliance Team enhances patient portal
The Compliance Team’s patient satisfaction reporting and benchmarking subscription service, Patient Quality Measurement (PQM) Satisfaction Portal, has added two enhancements to the database: Patient Survey Kiosk and Patient Survey Invite. The Kiosk allows the patient to enter satisfaction survey data at the time of service via an online computer or tablet device at the provider’s location. The Invite allows the provider to send a secure and time-sensitive survey email to each of its patients. The PQM database is free of charge as a value-added benefit to all clients.
