Power chair incorporates user, ATP, clinician feedback

Quantum Rehab’s new 4Front 2 power wheelchair was created to implement feedback received from consumers, ATPs, clinicians and industry professionals, and packs in features such as Quantum’s new Smart Traction Control (STC). The STC is integrated into the Q-Logic control system and features upgraded drive performance at higher speeds (up to 6.25 miles per hour) and improved tracking. Other innovations include four-pole motors and redesigned caster arms that have greater durability, reduced weight and enhanced aesthetics. Quantum’s backup camera is also an available option.

Edge 3 Stretto

The hottest new power base from Quantum Rehab, the Edge 3 Stretto gets its name from the Italina Stretto, which means narrow and the base holds up to its name. Featuring an overall width of 20.75 in. with 12.5 in. drive wheels, the Edge 3 Stretto is the narrowest power base in America, according to the company. The Edge 3 Stretto’s narrow width makes it an ideal option for children, teenagers and small adults. It provides outstanding maneuverability in tight spaces and is equipped with independent SRS (Smooth Ride Suspension). Optional iLevel delivers 12 in. of power adjustable seat height at walking speed (up to 3.5 mph). The Edge 3 Stretto comes standard with LED front and rear fender lights and a USB charger.

The 4Front by Quantum Rehab sets new levels of comfort and performance in front-wheel-drive power chair technology. Featuring automotive-grade suspension, the 4Front delivers among the smoothest rides, dampening bumps and jarring on rough terrain for increased user comfort. Advanced drive tracking provides predictable handling indoors and out. Group-34 batteries allow up to a 16-mile range, and safe seat elevation provides up to 12” of lift while driving at 3.2 mph.

Q-Logic 3 Advanced

New features allow for increased accessibility

Quantum Rehab has announced four notable additions to its Q-Logic 3 Advanced drive controls including infrared remote-control capabilities that allow for household appliance such as TVs, lighting and ceiling fans to be operated through the power chair electronics, mouse dwell feature that allows the mouse emulator to automatically switch from movement to clicks when positioned over a spot for certain amount of time and an awake feature that is now programmable so that the user can select the joystick or Mode button sequence that’s personally preferred to awaken the power chair.

Wheelchair enhancements include LED fender lights

Quantum Rehab is launching enhancements to its iLevel technology, including 12” of lift and LED fender lights to further increase users’ independence. iLevel on the Q6 Edge 2.0 will now have 12” of vertical lift, 2” taller than the previous version. A key to the 12” iLevel enhancement is its patented Extra Stability Technology™ that mechanically stabilizes the power base when elevated, allowing walking speeds over varied terrain up to 3.5mph. Additionally, LED headlights and tail lights integrated into the fenders will now be standard when ordered with iLevel technology on the Q6 Edge 2.0 to enhance visibility during active outdoor use.

The new Q-Logic 3 Advanced Drive Control System by Quantum Rehab® creates an adaptable, expandable, intuitive control system to serve even the most complex needs. From hand control driving to the highestend specialty controls, an exclusive range of programming parameters and protocols, such as Clinic Mode, allow rapid set-up and precision control for all users. Taking drive controls to the next level, Q-Logic 3 offers such features as nextgen Bluetooth access to devices, wireless programming from tablets, multiple input device capability, automatic firmware updates, iAccess customizable seating access, and Enhanced Display option, all within an intuitive, user-tailorable graphics interface.
