There are still seats available for the Aug. 27 Bid Smart Summit occurring at the Sheraton Dallas Fort Worth Airport Hotel in Irving, Texas., but the educational coalition behind the dmecbpeducation.com is telling providers they need to act fast.
The August Summit will give providers one more chance to learn the changes to competitive bidding ushered in with Round 2021, such as lead item pricing; bid surety bond; and the use of single payment amounts to set rates in non-competitive bidding areas. The event will also show attendees how to use the lead item pricing calculator and other tools available at dmecbpeducation.com
Moreover, the event has added a special session that will walk attendees through the information and procedures to use the “Bid Preparation Worksheet and Utilization Reports,” complete Forms A and B, and upload the bidder documents that must now be uploaded in Connexion, the program’s secure portal.
Speakers for the Aug. 27 event include:
- Cara Bachenheimer, head of the Government Affairs Practice at Brown & Fortunato
- Kim Brummett, vice president of Regulatory Affairs for American Association for Homecare
- Mark J. Higley, vice president of Regulatory Affairs for VGM Group Inc.
The cost to attend is $99, and providers can register at http://bit.ly/aug27bidsummit.
