The Indianapolis Business Journal has ranked national complex rehab technology (CRT) provider Rehab Medical no. 12 in its list of Indiana’s Top 25 Fastest Growing Companies for privately held companies.
Up from its no. 21 position on the 2018 edition of the Journal’s Fast 25, Rehab Medical’s growth during the past year was chalked up to a combination of organic growth; the acquisitions of Family Medical Supply (now rebranded as Rehab Medical Supply) and OMS Rehab; and a merger with Cork Medical.
Rehab Medical has been on a growth track for some time. The company grew 74 percent between 2016 and 2018, which was up from its 65 percent growth from 2014 to 2106.
“We are so proud to be included on this incredible list, because it means we’ve been able to execute our mission to improve lives on a much larger scale,” said Kevin Gearheart president of Rehab Medical. “At the end of the day our goal is to help more people discover our life-changing equipment so we can make a positive impact on their daily lives.
“We’re taking care of people; we’re improving lives for people who need mobility equipment or wound-care products,” Gearheart continued. “For us, the growth isn’t just for growth’s sake but because we know we’re able to take care of more people that way.
