To help providers better prepare for Round 2021, the educational coalition behind the dmecbpeducation.com website is hosting the Bid Smart 2019 Summit in Nashville, Tenn. on June 5.
The one-day summit, hosted at the One Century Place Conference Center in Nashville, will provide a day-long workshop that will address topics such as lead item pricing; bid surety bond; and the use of single payment amounts to set rates in non-competitive bidding areas.
Speakers will include:

- Kim Brummett, vice president of regulatory affairs for AAHomecare.
- Mark J. Higley, vice president of regulatory affairs for VGM Group Inc.
With the 60-day bid window opening in June, the event will also show attendees how to use the lead item pricing calculator and other tools available at dmecbpeducation.com, which is a joint effort from AAHomcare, the VGM Group, and the Council for Quality Respiratory Care (CQRC).
The June 5 event runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Central Time, and will be held at One Century Place Conference Center, which is located at 26 Century Blvd, in Nashville, zip code 37214. Registration costs $99 and attendees can register here.
