Healthcare sales and marketing software company PlayMaker Health has acquired viaDirect Solutions, a provider of market intelligence and data analytics for the post-acute sector. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
ViaDirect principals John Kiehl and Ginger Voss will join PlayMaker’s leadership, with Kiehl leading data analytics strategy and Voss as vice president strategic partnerships. PlayMaker’s John Griscavage will remain as the company’s chief executive officer.
“ViaDirect delivers incredible data insights that forward-thinking providers can leverage to drive significant business development,” Griscavage said. “Incorporating their market intelligence and data analytics into our purpose-built post-acute platform gives our current and potential clients the most comprehensive view of their market, from untapped referral sources to opportunities for expansion.”
“Since the beginning of viaDirect, we had a goal of developing CRM functionality,“ Voss noted. “… Combining our resources and experience allows us to stay at the forefront of post-acute data innovation.”
PlayMaker also refined its brand, company name, and website under the name PlayMaker Health.
“As an organization that’s dedicated to helping post-acute care providers improve visibility and market performance, we realized PlayMaker needed to evolve as the industry and our partners evolved,” Griscavage said.
