Complex rehab power chair maker Quantum Rehab is showcasing its U.S.-based manufacturing facility, processes, and products in a new video, “Quantum Experiences Are Made in America.”
The video shows how Quantum’s process, including research and development, component manufacturing, assembly, and final shipment takes place in the United States.
“We’re immensely proud of the made-in-the-USA foundation we’ve created with Quantum in order to best serve our customers and engage the tremendous local workforce,” said Joe O’Brien, senior vice president of global operations, in a public statement. “This foundation allows us to use some outsourced components, in conjunction with those locally made, to assemble custom complex rehab power chairs with unprecedented efficiencies, right here in the U.S.”
The film. It also depicts how the company custom builds each Quantum unit in its vertically-integrated manufacturing facility in Duryea, Pa., with additional production in Las Vegas.
“Our mission is to revolutionize the power chair experience for each of our users,” added Jay Brislin, vice president of Quantum. “We believe that the best way to address each individual’s unique needs, with the most innovative products, is through as much in-house, USA manufacturing as possible.”
