HME billing and management software company Medforce Technologies Inc., which provides IT solutions for various niches within the post-acute care market, has joined the National Association for Home Care and Hospice (NAHC).
NAHC represents the interests of chronically ill, disabled and dying Americans of all ages, as well as the caregivers who provide them with in-home health and hospice services.
“We have experienced solid growth in the home health sector over the past several years,” said Medforce CEO Esther Apter. “Providers are looking to reduce costs and improve productivity so they can remain solvent and continue to serve this vulnerable patient population. With the increased regulatory focus on compliance, the technology solutions we offer are a welcome resource to the administrative side of home health. Joining NAHC was a logical choice to help us stay in tune with the latest challenges and continue to learn how to best serve this industry.”
Medforce offers technology solutions designed to help healthcare providers improve efficiency, increase visibility, ensure compliance, and improve cash flow. Home health providers can use Medforce’s offerings to manage various operational processes such as referral intake, billing and denial management, audits and ADRs, and accounts receivable, according to the software company.
“Part of our mission at NAHC is to educate our members and connect them to the latest innovations that will help them stay ahead of the rapidly changing industry,” said Andrea Devoti, vice president of Education, Meetings and Policy for the association. “We welcome all technology companies that can help our members be nimble in this changing world.”
Medforce will exhibit at two upcoming NAHC conferences:
- The 2017 Financial Management Conference, held July 16-18 in Hartford, Conn.
- The 2017 Annual Meeting Conference & Exposition, slated for Oct. 15-17 in Long Beach, Calif.
