Quantum Rehab has announced its plans for the University of Pittsburgh’s 2017 International Seating Symposium, taking place from March 2 to 4 at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel and Convention Center in Nashville, Tenn.
The company, which is a Platinum Supporter of the event, will showcase an array of consumer-focused technologies in Booth 224. Quantum’s theme for the event is “To Be as Independent as Possible.”
One of the products Quantum will have on display is the Q6 Edge 2.0 power base, which was released in 2016. The Q6 Edge 2.0 offers standard 6 mph motors, as well as optional LED fender lights, 8-inch casters, iLevel technology for up to 10-inches of seat elevation in 16 seconds while moving at walking speed, and Extra Stability Technology for improved safety while performing transfers, reach, and other activities. The Q6 Edge 2.0 is compatible with Quantum’s Q-Logic 3 Advanced Drive Control System, which offers built-in Bluetooth controls.
“We’re listening to consumers and are excited to not just show our products at ISS, but also share our mission toward delivering the complex rehab technologies that allow consumers to be as independent as possible,” said Megan Kutch, director of marketing for Quantum.
