Member service organization Premier Inc. has entered a group purchasing agreement with Hollister Inc., a maker of ostomy, continence, critical care and wound care products, that will give its Premier members special pricing and terms for Hollister’s urological products.
Premier serves approximately 3,600 U.S. hospitals and 120,000 other providers with group purchasing services, as well as integrated data and analytics, collaboration, supply chain solutions, and advisory services.
Premier members will have access to Hollister’s urological product portfolio, which incudes options for bladder management ranging from straight and coudé catheters without lubrication or with a hydrophilic coating, to our a line of touch-free catheters, such as the recently launched VaPro Plus Pocket catheter.
UPDATE: After a reader inquiry with Premier (see story comments below), the reader was told on two occasions the deal was not offered to DMEs or traditional medical supply companies. HME Business inquired, and was told by Joanne Gresavage, director of corporate communications for Hollister Inc. that, “The specific pricing terms and conditions under the Premier agreement are confidential.”
