HME software company Medforce Technologies Inc. has rolled out out Medforce Apps, a collection turnkey workflow solutions that address specific, common elements of provider operations.
The product suite is launching with six original Apps: Fax Management, Appeals Management, Overpayments Management, Referral Management, Vendor Invoice Management and Document Distribution. The company is finalizing a Procurement Approval App and anticipates having at least a dozen Apps available by mid-2016.
“The idea for Medforce Apps came out of conversations with customers and prospects who were impressed with the robust capability and flexibility of our BPM platform CommandCenter, but really only had one or two severe pain points,” said Steve Bainnson, Medforce vice president of sales. “By delivering pre-fab workflows to address these issues, we are able to help them with their biggest challenges in a cost-effective manner.”

Each workflow App is built on the Medforce business process management platform CommandCenter (formerly known as WorkFLOW) and eases specific challenges to improve productivity for provider organizations. That said, Medforce Apps are available to all organizations whether or not they are current Medforce customers and can be configured to integrate with most business applications.
“In most cases, the Apps are delivered through a SaaS model, where we host the customer’s data in the cloud, providing HIPAA-compliant security and disaster preparedness,” Apter said.
