Complex rehab wheelchair manufacturer Permobil has acquired support surface and positiong system maker The ROHO Group Inc.
Founded in 1973, ROHO has provided customized seating and support surface solutions to patients in more than 65 countries. A statement from Permobil said the purchase will help the company advance its efforts to become a leading provider of rehab solutions for people with disabilities.

ROHO brings industry leading technology, medical expertise and top quality products to Permobil, which will further strengthen our ability to meet the needs of the people we serve.”

Permobil and ROHO have combined sales of more than SEK 2.5 billion. The transaction is subject to approval from competition authorities in the United States and Austria.
