Drive Medical, a manufacturer of durable medical equipment, has hired Richard Kocinski as vice president of respiratory business development. Kocinski will report directly to George Harris, CEO of CHAD Therapeutics, a subsidiary of Drive Medical and a manufacturer of oxygen conserving devices, regulators, and other respiratory products.
Kocinski is a respiratory executive with over 28 years of experience in the design, manufacturing and marketing of a wide variety of respiratory products. He started his career with DeVilbiss and served as the company’s president from 1998 to 2005. Following DeVilbiss, Kocinski was the president and CEO of Inspired Technologies, where he developed and designed the SmartDose oxygen conserving device. Most recently, Kocinski was the executive vice president of Evo Medical Solutions, which acquired Inspired Technologies.
“We are looking forward to having Rich join the management team,” says Harris. “Rich will be primarily focused on developing new product categories and will add significant depth and management capabilities to the CHAD team in our efforts to expand our respiratory business.”
