The North Carolina Association for Medical Equipment Services has slated its 2015 Winter Meeting for Feb. 11-12 at the Sheraton Raleigh Hotel,
Working under the TV-inspired theme of “Breaking Bad Habits for Happy Days,” the event will feature addresses from key state health officials, including Robin G. Cummings, MD, deputy secretary for North Carolina Medicaid, deputy secretary for the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services, and interim state health director and Joe Cooper, chief information director for N.C. DHHS.
Dr. Cummings will discuss features of the McCrory Administration’s Medicaid reform plan, including the Affordable Care Organization model, and the status of the legislative process. Cooper will provide an update on the state of NCTracks and next steps. Question and Answer session will follow the presentations.
