HME billing and management software maker Brightree LLC has joined the American Association for Homecare as a corporate partner, and will help shape it’s Audit Key effort. The new agreement marks Brightree as a AAHomecare Silver Corporate Partner and sponsor of the association’s Stand Up for Homecare event.
The Audit Key is a long-term program that aims to drive credible data that would help the industry reform CMS’s audits and ease the financial burdens those audits are having on providers.
The exclusive agreement will see Brightree support Audit Key be the information technology lead in shaping its HME Audit Key program. Brightree will be among an elite group of companies that have formed strategic agreements with AAHomecare that go beyond traditional membership to bring together diverse resources on behalf of the HME industry. As the information technology lead on the project, Brightree will help to shape this new audit tracking and data collection tool.
“AAHomecare and Brightree share a common dedication to the long-term success of the providers in HME industry,” said Dave Cormack, president and CEO of Brightree. “On behalf of our over 3,000 customers, we are pleased to underscore our dedication to the HME industry with this agreement. We are working diligently with AAHomecare to ensure that providers continue to thrive and grow, despite industry challenges.”
“The HME industry is ripe for innovation for those who can see its potential,” said Tom Ryan, president and CEO of AAHomecare. “Brightree is rapidly becoming the IT backbone of the HME industry, and CEO Dave Cormack is a dynamic leader who believes in the future of this industry. Working together on groundbreaking programs like the HME Audit Key will help us reach our shared goals of serving patients and strengthening access to care.”
