VGM Launches Round One Re-compete Seminars
Hosted in Round One’s 9 CBAs, the day-long events will cover all facets of the CMS’s fall re-bid.

VGM Group Inc. is hosting a series of Round One Re-compete seminars in Round One’s nine original bidding areas during September and the first week of October.
The conference swill cover of Charlotte, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Dallas, Kansas City, Miami, Orlando, Pittsburgh and Riverside, Calif., which are slated by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services to be re-bid this fall. CMS’s re-compete for these areas includes several new DME items, as well as a “consolidation” of the original product categories.
Exact dates and locations for the seminar series will be announced after Aug. 1., and a similar session will be offered Oct. 15 as a Medtrade Fall pre-show seminar.
Each of the VGM seminars will run from 9:30 a.m. to 4:15 p.m., and is directed to HME owners, general managers, purchasing personnel and reimbursement staff. VGM competitive bidding expert Mark Higley will present the programs, which will cover all facets of the re-compete, including initial registration steps, placing your final bid and submitting hard copy documents. Bidding strategies and pitfalls will be part of the session.
Tuition is $199 for the first attendee, and $149 for additional students Attendees will receive a take-home CD, which includes various preparation “tools” and important checklists.
