Otto Bock Appoints Senior Market and Training Manager, Custom Seating

Otto Bock HealthCare has appointed John Phillips ATP, CFo to the newly created position of senior market and training manager, Custom Seating, for Mobility Solutions. In his new role he will be responsible for marketing, business development and education for Otto Bock’s custom seating.
“The creation of this new position combining marketing and education underscores Otto Bock’s continued investment in our complex rehab area and our commitment to customer satisfaction,” says Matt Swiggum, business unit director for Mobility Solutions. “John’s professional credentials and extensive background in mobility, marketing, training and clinical education enable him to make an immediate and strong impact, and we look forward to his contributions to our custom seating business.”
In addition to Assistive Technology Professional credentials with the Rehabilitation Engineering Society of North America (RESNA), Phillip’s specialties include Certified Orthotic Fitter (CFo) with the American Board of Certification for Orthotics and Prosthetics. He is a graduate of the University of Atlanta with a BBA in Business Administration and brings to his new role over twenty years of industry experience, sixteen of those with Otto Bock and with a focus on driving the Mobility Solutions business. Most recently he held the position of Professional and Clinical Services Education Manager for the company.
