Roadnet Adds New HR Director

HME delivery routing and fleet management company Roadnet Technologies, has selected Malcolm Hooker as Director, Human Resources. He was formerly Director, Human Resources for the American Israel Public Affairs Committee.

In his new position Hooker will direct the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources department for the company (which serves various industries in addition to HME) and oversee the implementation of all corporate personnel policies involving employment, including the recruitment and hiring of new employees. Hooker will also devise and execute employee benefit and retirement programs, oversee legal compliance initiatives and implement performance management and evaluation programs.

“This represents a key hire for our company as we intend to continually recruit a steady stream of experienced professionals to our organization to maintain our strong sales and operational momentum,” said Roadnet CEO Len Kennedy. “We have extreme confidence in Malcolm’s ability to direct our human resources efforts in our goal of attracting and retaining employee talent with specialized skill sets,” he added.

Hooker brings more than 20 years of diversified business experience to Roadnet Technologies, including the past 11 in the human resources sector. He also spent more than seven years with Vertis Communications as group director of its Human Resources.

Hooker earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Old Dominion University and a Master of Business Administration in Finance from Loyola College in Maryland. He presently resides in Ellicott City, Md.
