Compression Sock Wins Design Award

Panel of international judges recognized Medi for Men for finish, functionality.

The International Forum Design recently awarded Medi USA its 2011 IF product design award 2011 for medi’s Mediven for Men compression sock. The judges recognized the garment for its finish, functionality and choice of materials.

More than 2,750 product nominations from 43 nations in 16 categories were submitted for this year's competition, which has been held since 1953. Mediven for Men was awarded the prize for the Medicine/Healthcare category.

The appearance of the men’s sock with its ribbed design and discreet color range impressed the jury. Mediven for Men is used for early to moderate venous diseases as well as tired, heavy or swollen legs. To aid comfort and promote compliance the sock is anatomically designed to fit the consumer’s foot.
