Dan Smith Joins AAHomecare as Director of Membership Sales and Marketing

Longtime HME industry veteran Dan Smithhas joined the American Association for Homecare as its director of membership sales and marketing, a newly created position.

Most recently, Smith was Sales Executive for OSI/Overland Solutions Inc. in Kansas City, an outsource provider to the insurance market for audits, surveys, loss control, and risk management. However, Smith brings decades of HME experience. He worked for The MED Group for 12 years where he served as vice president of membership from 2002 to 2009.  He also worked in sales for MK Battery.

Smith began his career in the HME sector during the early 1980s. From 1983 to 1991, he was a rehab provider and Rehabilitation Technology Supplier (for Advacare Medical, in Kansas City. From 1991 to 1997, he served as Regional Manager at Everest & Jennings.
