Jurisdiction C DME MAC has been affected by recent storms and flooding.

CIGNA Government Services, the Jurisdiction C DME MAC, has been affected by recent storms and flooding in the Southeast and is asking suppliers to use its IVR system to check claim status and eligibility information.

CGS also said most of its incoming and outgoing fax services have been interrupted, and that DME Telephone Reopenings call lines are currently unavailable. It warned suppliers to expect a possible one-day delay in Electronic Funds Transfers.

As of Tuesday, May 4, CIGNA's DME and Part B Provider Contact Centers are open, but with limited staffing.

CGS has also cancelled a workshop that had been scheduled to take place in Nashville, Tenn., on Thursday, May 6.

CGS is based in Nashville, which has experienced severe and extensive flooding the last several days.
