New Diabetes Site Launches

DiabetesCare.net provides patients with tools to manage their conditions.

Food Sciences Corp. has launched a new website, DiabetesCare.net, aimed at providing a range of information resources and tools to help patients stay informed and to help them manage their condition.

DiabetesCare.net provides daily breaking news showcasing the latest trends and studies on the disease, and offers tools to help visitors manage their diabetes and that show them the daily progress they are making.

DiabetesCare.net’s tools include a Nutrition Tracker, with a refined search function accessing a database of 37,000 food items for tracking daily food intake and carbohydrates consumed; an Exercise Tracker that tracks more than 80 different daily exercise activities for visitors; a Blood Glucose Tracker, and a BMI (Body Mass Index) Calculator.

The site will also soon provide an overall “Health Assessment” tool will be added to DiabetesCare.net’s library of tools to help its visitors work towards a healthier overall lifestyle.

DiabetesCare.net also provides blogs and forums to encourage dialogue amongst visitors in an effort to foster sharing, understanding and knowledge of their disease.

Additionally, DiabetesCare.net also features diabetic recipes and short- and long-form videos with tips for people living with diabetes and much more.
