Fastrack, Cpapdropship.com Forge Alliance

Fastrack system users can automatically place patient CPAP orders with the service.

Fastrack Healtcare Systems and cpapdropship.com have created an alliance to automate the shipping of CPAP products direct to patients in order to cut providers' costs and improve patient compliance.

The cpapdropship.com service lets providers on the Fastrack system consolidate their CPAP refill orders for patients and have each patient’s orders drop shipped directly to their address. Fastrack and cpapdropship.com have worked to integrate their systems so that HMEs using the Fastrack system can send their orders and patient information into cpapdropship.com’s system for processing, delivery information and order confirmation.

“At that point they simply process the billing. No inventory, no shipping concerns, providers need only to bill,” says Spencer Kay, president of Fastrack. “We are very impressed with cpapdropship.com’s record of success working with HME providers, increasing their revenue and reducing operating costs.”

The cpapdropship.com service provides name brand CPAP masks and accessories that can be shipped same day. Providers using the service can combine different manufacturers' masks, filters, chinstraps and chambers, as well universal 6-foot CPAP tubing in a single order. Orders are then shipped with the provider’s company information and logo on the packing slip to maintain branding.

Additionally, cpapdropship.com offers a follow-up service geared to increase patient treatment compliance. The service employs trained sleep specialists that help troubleshoot over the phone any problems patients might be having. The company says it takes a “no patient left behind” approach that focuses on long-term compliance, patient education and replacement supplies for patients every three months.

“A population-based CPAP program consisting of consistent follow-up, troubleshooting and regular feedback to both patients and physicians will achieve much higher rates of patient compliance, providing a DME increased CPAP revenue,” says Jason Holzman, general manager of cpapdropship.com.
