Oval handrim helps improve traction
Three Rivers' Surge is a lightweight, all-in-one oval handrim with a Gription strip that improves traction on every push. Two sizes (the Surge and Surge LT) allow users to choose the best fit for their hand. The smooth side surface of the oval means no-burn braking. The handrim does not add any width to a wheelchair and can be mounted in the close-in or wide mount tab positions. It is currently available for 24- and 25-inch wheels.
