Fastrack launches free Medicare Gateway service to clients
Gateway for Medicare transactions
Fastrack Healthcare Systems’ new Gateway for Medicare transactions includes Claims Submissions, which allows providers to submit claims to Medicare (CEDI) through Fastrack’s secure website that supports an unlimited number of users per provider. For a nominal fee non-clients can use the gateway by simply uploading the appropriate files. The company also has added the capability to process eligibility transactions real-time directly with CMS through the Fastrack EDI Network.

Brightree’s new Product Profitability Analyzer for Brightree users who wish to better understand the impact of changing reimbursement rates on their profitability. The Product Profitability Analyzer is a simple, easy to use tool that enables providers to determine product profitability at various reimbursement rates. First, the Analyzer uses the provider’s actual sales data to calculate the gross margin for each product. Next, providers can input their fixed costs like delivery, administration, overhead, etc. and select from several allocation methodologies. The profitability analyzer then calculates the net profit by product. Results can be summarized by product category or detailed by HCPCs code.
