Air fluidized therapy unit quickly heals pressure sore wounds

The AIRUS A210 Air Fluidized Therapy Unit helps enable patients with pressure sores to heal wounds faster than a traditional hospital bed. The unit consists of a base structure filled with silicone coated microsphere beads. Room air is drawn into the base unit, then filtered, heated and pushed into the microsphere bead media through a diffuser board. The airflow suspends the microspheres, causing them to take on the properties of a fluid.

The Sentinel II Bariatric Low Bed, with a 9.75 inch low deck height for fall prevention, offers features that help caregivers give their acute care patients the best possible care. It features a keypad-controlled, fourwheel, electric central lock, which ensures wheels are locked for patient safety and eliminates the need to search for the wheel lock pedal when the patient and mattress are on the sleep surface. For convenience and ease of use, caregiver and patient controls are embedded in the head and side rails.
