CHATTA-Rest™ orthotics are designed to treat and prevent contractures due to immobility. The lightweight construction and comfortable fit encourage maximum compliance. All contracture management orthotics are easy for the caregiver to apply. The product inhibits flexion contracture of the fingers, supports flaccid wrists and hands, and treats mild contractures of the wrists and fingers. The product uses a comfortable, lightweight nylon/foam laminate with an adjustable dorsal pod to accommodate various sizes. The pre-contoured, aluminum palmer and thumb stays adjust for proper angulation to address various wrist and thumb pathologies. Elastic straps with D-ring closures provide support and comfort.

The splints feature a slip-on design for easy application and a malleable metal palmar stay for extra support, and they do not extend past the palmar crease, which allows for a full range of finger motion.
