Boise, Idaho-headquartered provider NORCO Inc. will unveil its implementation of Sunrise Medical’s Breezy Elegance line in February in its 12 of its 50 locations in the Pacific Northwest.
As cash sales becomes an increasingly component of HME revenues, the Idaho provider’s rollout joins the wheelchair Maker’s Breezy Elegance Retail Wheelchair Program.
“Sunrise has been a great partner of ours for the last several years,” said Dave Arnold, ATP Rehab director at NORCO Medical. “We’re excited to become an Elegance dealer so we can offer our customers a great new product and increase cash sales at the same time. The decision to further partner with Sunrise was made easy due to their superior support and training, marketing materials, and quality of the Breezy Elegance wheelchairs.”
Available in three models – Silver, Gold, and Platinum – the Breezy Elegance Retail wheelchair features a lightweight frame with adjustments for user and caregiver comfort and convenience.
The Elegance Retail Wheelchair Program offers product, sales training, print and digital marketing materials, web support, in-store displays, on-going grass roots marketing support, and an exclusive territory for participating retailers.
“We are excited to offer this comprehensive retail merchandising program to select distributors across the United States,” said Pete Coburn, president f U.S. Commercial Operations at Sunrise Medical.
One established Breezy Elegance Premium Retailer that has experienced success with the program is Wisconsin provider Knueppel HealthCare Services.
“Sunrise’s support, sales training and merchandising assistance is second to none and the … display virtually sells the product on its own,” said Cindy Ciardo, Knueppel CEO and BOC Orthotist. “… Plus it gives pizzazz to our showroom. They also offer a full suite of digital assets for our Internet marketing and outgoing emails.”
