Portable oxygen equipment maker O2 Concepts has added industry veterans to leadership roles within its organization, and has elevated president and COO Rob Kent to the level of CEO of the company.
The company appointed Bill Lindsay to serve in the newly created position of vice president of international. For the last 15 years, Lindsay has been involved in the international expansion for portable oxygen. Most notably Lindsay established the European market for AirSep from 2000 to 2007.
The company has also added Dennis Fitzgerald, RRT to take over the role of regional sales manager for the northeast. Fitzgerald anchored the Northeast for AirSep for longer than 20 years, where he increased sales an average of 20 percent year over year.
In his new role as CEO, Kent becomes the face of O2 Concepts, and is working to repositioning the company as a leader in the portable oxygen market. O2 Concepts founder and former CEO, Dikran Tourian, will still be actively involved in the strategic direction of the company as a Board Member.
“As we continue to improve our product and technology offering, we are also amassing one of the best sales teams in the industry,” Kent said. “With a solid product development pipeline and global sales footprint, we are poised for enormous growth over the coming years.”
